About Jillian

Jillian has spent her entire life loving and taking care of horses. Aside from caring for her own horse, Horace, she has worked extensively in horse rescue since childhood. This included daily care and maintenance of horses and their environment, assisting with hoof and wound care, and even certification in Large Animal Rescue Techniques. Her devotion to caring for horses took her to Kentucky Horseshoeing School to study hoof and leg anatomy, conformation, lameness evaluation, and farrier skills for two terms.  Jillian then pursued training in Equine Myofascial Release, choosing to follow the John F. Barnes approach. She has personal experience as a patient of MFR and knows its power to effect positive change in fascia. (Link to Barnes page)

Jillian feels a natural affinity for understanding horses, and that connection helps her fulfill her goal of creating a better quality of life for her horse clients.

While her practice is primarily geared towards horses, Jillian treats dogs as well.
